Zeds Dead Brings Altered States Experience To Brooklyn
As Zeds Dead prepares to take over the Brooklyn Mirage in New York City on July 28, the Canadian duo announces they will bringing their Altered States record label to The Chocolate Factory on July 29.
The newly announced show includes performances from HNTR, Suray Sertin and Corinne, as well as a headline set from label heads, Zeds Dead. Tickets for the upcoming show are currently on sale.
Zeds Dead recently appeared on the cover of Pollstar, the electronic duo and their team sharing how they’ve gathered inspiration from iconic jam bands including the Grateful Dead and Phish. Rather than perform a full-fledged tour, the duo announces one-off performances in various cities, returning year after year around the same time and bringing along artists from both their Deadbeats and Altered States record labels.
Last year, Zeds Dead sold out the Brooklyn Mirage on July 22, grossing $360,957 with 6,450 tickets sold, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. The following day, they brought their Altered States label to Superior Ingredients in Brooklyn for another sold-out show with 600 tickets filling the venue, grossing $36,500. Over the course of 211 headline dates reported to Pollstar, Zeds Dead has sold 475,870 tickets grossing $19.1 million.
Zeds Dead will also return to New York City over Labor Day weekend, where they will perform at Electric Zoo alongside GRiZ.
