Connexin Live: ASM Global Unveils Naming Rights Sponsor For UK Venue
Technology company Connexin has entered into a five-year naming rights parntership for ASM Global’s 3,500-cap building in Hull, UK, formerly known as Bonus Arena.
The partnership was celebrated today, Aug. 1, as venue officials and key stakeholders met with Connexin co-founders, Furqan Alamgir, Alex Yeung, and their brand ambassador, Olympian Luke Campbell, to officially mark the opening of Connexin Live.
Hull-based Connexin offers broadband, smart places, and IoT (internet of things) solutions, as well as digital skills training. The company was recently named one of the fastest growing businesses in the Northern Tech Awards, and celebrated reaching 25,000 customer earlier this year, according to a press release announcing the partnership with ASM Global.

Connexin Live can host corporate conferences, exhibitions, and trade tours as well as major touring concerts, stand-up comedy, family shows and sporting events. Since opening its doors in 2018 with a sold-out performance by Van Morrison, the 3,500-capacity venue has played host to some of the world’s biggest artists and shows including Bob Dylan, Stereophonics, Sean Paul, Sarah Millican, Tom Grennan, WWE Live, Jack Whitehall, Blondie, Bryan Adams, Paloma Faith, Romesh Ranganathan and more.
In 2022 alone, the building welcomed 200,000 visitors, since 2018, over half a million tickets have been purchased, with 327 hosted ticketed events since opening, by ASM Global’s own admission.
Connexin Live ranked as the 51st busiest Arena in Europe on Pollstar’s 2022 Magna Charta.
The Connexin Live signage is being added to the arena this week. The first concert to take place in the newly-named venue will be Sean Paul on Aug. 8, followed by Noel Gallagher on Aug. 30. Tickets are on sale now.
Also this year, Jimmy Carr (Oct. 21), Mrs Brown’s Boys (Oct. 27-28), Russell Howard (Nov. 25-26), and Donny Osmond (Nov. 28) will take the stage.
