Jeff Lynne’s ELO, The War On Drugs, The Flaming Lips On Bill For Joe Walsh’s VetsAid 2023
For its seventh edition, VetsAid — the festival founded by the legendary Joe Walsh — will go outside as it heads to sunny Southern California Veterans Day weekend.

The festival is set for November 12 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California, just south of San Diego.
The concert will feature full sets from Jeff Lynne’s ELO, The War on Drugs, The Flaming Lips, Lucius and Walsh, who will play with Stephen Stills.
It will be Jeff Lynne’s ELO’s first performance since 2019.
Tickets will be available and on-sale to the public August 18 at 10 a.m. Pacific time at www.ticketmaster.com. Further details will be available at www.vetsaid.org.
All net proceeds from the concert go directly to the veterans’ services charities. To date, VetsAid has disbursed $3 million in grants. In 2023, VetsAid plans to disburse grants exclusively to organizations based in Southern California or with operations on the ground in Southern California.
Walsh is a Gold Star son. His father was a flight instructor on the F-80 Shooting Star and died in Okinawa when Walsh was 20 months old.
