Lindsey Stirling Announces Christmas Tour

The countdown is on to deck the halls and jump in a sleigh ride with your favorite electronic violinist and dancer. Lindsey Stirling has announced the routing for the U.S. leg of her 2023 “Snow Waltz Tour,” with the promise of European dates to be added soon.

The trek will celebrate Stirling’s 2022 holiday album, Snow Waltz. The album features her take on Christmas classics including “Sleigh Ride,” “Deck the Halls,” “Joy To The World,” “O Holy Night,” along with originals like “Snow Waltz” and “Ice Storm.”

“I always love touring, but touring at Christmas is my absolute favorite and I think this year’s Christmas show is going to be the best one yet!” Stirling said in a statement.

The U.S. leg features more than 20 cities, starting with a Nov. 16th show in Stateline, Nevada at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. Stops include Fresno, California’s Saroyan Theatre; El Paso, Texas’ Abraham Chavez Theatre; Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Van Andel Arena and Buffalo, New York’s Shea’s Performing Arts Center. The last gig on the books is a New Year’s Eve gig at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre.

A VIP onsale, as well as a Citi card members presale start Tuesday, Aug. 22nd at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the artist presale at 12 p.m. The public onsale starts Aug. 25th at 10 a.m. local time.

A review of her 2022 holiday tour earned praise from outlets including GeekDad.com, which proclaimed: “Lindsey isn’t just an accomplished violinist and dancer, she also has aerial skills and showed them off more than a few times during the show. It hurts my head trying to figure out how someone can do aerial moves while playing the violin (and upside down no less). I’ve seen her TikToks where she is trying to convince the people in charge to let her do aerial work while playing her violin. It was amusing to watch, and seeing the final product in person was just… chefs kiss.”

Stirling is donating $1 per ticket toward Lindsey’s Upside Fund charity, which has helped relieve over $5 million in medical debt.

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for Stirling include a Dec. 31, 2022, show at The John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., that sold 2,258 tickets and grossed $305,064.
