Travis Scott Announces Touring Return

Travis Scott, on the heels of a performance in front of 60,000 at Rome’s Circus Maximus, announced late Tuesday he’ll return to the road for a headlining tour.

The “Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour” will be Scott’s first headlining run since 10 people died and hundreds were injured at his Astro World festival in Houston in 2021. Since, Scott has played numerous festivals and occasional one-offs without setting out on his own.

That changes October 11 when “Utopia” begins at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center. The tour includes one stadium play — at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, November 5, but otherwise sticks to arenas, including Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and the United Center in Chicago, among others. The initial routing does not include a stop in Houston, though the tour will play Texas — at Dallas’ American Airlines Center October 17 and at the Moody Center in Austin November 21. See the full routing below.

Tickets go on sale August 31 at 10 a.m. local on travisscott.com. According to a press release, $2 from every ticket “will go to Cactus Jack Foundation which is a 501(c)3 with a mission to uplift Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.”

A grand jury earlier this year failed to indict Scott, Live Nation and other festival organizers. Civil suits are still pending.
