Oak View Group Names Kelly McCormick As VP Of Programming, OVG Arizona

Kelly McCormick is the new Vice President of Programming, OVG Arizona, Oak View Group announced Thursday.

In this newly created role, McCormick will oversee the strategy to increase live event programming across OVG’s Arizona properties, which include Phoenix’s Footprint Center, home of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, as well as Mullett Arena on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University. home of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes and Sun Devils Athletics, and Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.

McCormick assumes her new role effective immediately and will be based at Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix.

OVG Hospitality and the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury recently announced a partnership to improve the food and beverage experience for Suns and Mercury games, concerts and live events. McCormick’s new role expands that partnership.

McCormick joins OVG after six years as Director of Booking for the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz. where she was responsible for strategically programming diverse content for the venue, including concerts, family shows, sporting events and special events, as well as serving as the West Regional Director of Booking for ASM Global, supporting booking efforts for more than 15 venues in California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.

Prior to ASM Global, McCormick spent five years at Apregan Entertainment Group as Booking & Touring Manager following stints at Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and Hubbard Broadcasting.
