George Strait & Chris Stapleton Add 9 Stadium Dates

George Strait and Chris Stapleton are extending their stadium tour into 2024, announcing nine new dates with Little Big Town in support.

On the Messina Touring Group- and AEG-promoted run, The pair will visit Indianapolis; Jacksonville; Ames, Iowa; Charlotte; East Rutherford; Salt Lake City; Detroit and Chicago, plus a celebration of Strait’s “Strait to Vegas” show at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Tickets to most shows go on sale September 22 at 10 a.m. local time via GeorgeStrait.com, with tickets to the Jacksonville show on sale October 20 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express presale begins September 15 at 10 am local through September 21 at 10 p.m. local.

The tour has been selling out stadiums all summer, grossing more than $15.8 million at a August 5 stop at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, selling 55,163 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. Their biggest reported gross of the summer came June 24 at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver: $16,652,960 on 59,663 tickets.

Strait is represented by Wasserman Music’s Jonathan Levine and Chappel McCollister. His long-time manager is Erv Woolsey. Stapleton’s agents are Jay Williams and Beth Hamilton at WME; he’s managed by Red Light’s Coran Capshaw, Zach Peters, and Clay Hunt.
