Debuting in the Top 10 on LIVE75 as the “Hot Shot” touring artist of the week is Nickelback, ranked seventh based on box office results from five concerts during August on the band’s “Get Rollin’” tour. Amphitheater shows in Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit and Darien Center, New York – along with an arena date in St. Paul, Minnesota – produced a sold-ticket count of 86,422 for an average of 17,284 per show. It is the highest among the 18 headliners making debut appearances on the chart. The New York date drew the largest crowd among the five events with 21,159 fans in attendance at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Aug. 16.

The rock veterans launched the tour supporting their 10th studio album, Get Rollin’, on June 12 at Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City with shed and arena dates planned in North American cities into October. Produced by Live Nation, the trek also features support by country rocker Brantley Gilbert and fellow Canadian Josh Ross.

Box office figures reported from the first 28 venues on the “Get Rollin’” jaunt show a gross total registering $25.6 million since the tour began, while ticket sales on the ongoing tour total 389,953. The top-grossing performance so far is a June 24 concert at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, with $1.3 million from 13,444 sold seats.

The highest-ranked headliner with a debut appearance on the Artist Power Index is the legendary Eagles, ranked No. 29 following the kickoff of the band’s final tour, “The Long Goodbye,” on Sept. 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The first four performances – two at the Garden followed by two at Boston’s TD Garden – fall in the eligibility period for the chart and mark the beginning of the trek that is currently booked from fall through mid-November.

Six more artists are new to the APX rankings in this issue including country singer Zach Bryan who hits the chart at No. 39 based on recent concerts at 10 arenas booked on his “Burn, Burn, Burn” North American tour. Reported sales totals include a ticket count of 16,751 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and 18,398 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas – both sold-out performances.

Comedian Matt Rife is LIVE75’s “Breakthrough” touring artist with the highest sellout percentage outside the Top 25. The Columbus, Ohio, native makes his debut on the chart at No. 40 based on eight sold-out performances at two venues during August. The shows at OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Ocean Casino Resort’s Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, are part of his ongoing “ProbleMATTic” world tour, currently scheduled through October of next year.

The Niagara Falls venue hosted Rife for one show on Aug. 4 and two more the next day, moving a total of 14,910 tickets for a $959,346 gross (USD). In Atlantic City, he played five shows at the casino between Aug. 18-20 and drew 20,204 fans. Combined grosses from all the sold-out shows totaled $1.5 million.

Elsewhere on the charts, top-ranked Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran hang on to the No. 1 spot for another week on the Artist Power Index and LIVE75, respectively. Both retain their positions based on shows during the homestretch of North American treks on both of their tours.
