Karan Ram Joins Palm Tree Crew As President Of Festivals & Events

Palm Tree Crew is expanding its footprint in live events, and the company announced Karan Ram has been appointed as President of Festivals and Events.

Ram joins Palm Tree Crew from Moment Entertainment, a collegiate concert and event company he founded located on the West Coast. With Moment Entertainment, Ram brought prominent acts including The Chainsmokers, Gryffin and Two Friends to various college campuses. The company was acquired by Pollen, a UK-based promotion company.

While still running Moment Entertainment under the Pollen umbrella, Ram established the Curated Travel division for co-curated travel festivals worldwide. He worked alongside the event brand Emo Night to produce shows in locations like Las Vegas and also stepped into the Latin events space by contributing to the creation of J Balvin’s curated Ibiza experience.

Ram also served as president of the festival brand Breakaway and helped it grow from three festivals in 2021 to seven in 2023.

“We’re excited to welcome Karan to Palm Tree Crew and have him bring his expertise and passion to our team,” Myles Shear, co-founder of Palm Tree Crew, said in a statement. “As the President of Palm Tree Crew Festivals and Events, he will play a pivotal role in scaling our brand to even greater global heights.”

Kygo and Shear’s Palm Tree Crew announced last week (Sept. 11) a new partnership deal with Live Nation for Palm Tree Crew’s artist management division. The partnership aims to present more growth opportunities for Palm Tree Crew’s artist roster.
