The Bowery Presents Partners With New Haven’s Westville Music Bowl
The Bowery Presents announced a new partnership with Premier Concerts/Manic Presents, with The Bowery to book all concerts at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut, starting with the 2024 season.
The venue, located on Yale’s campus, formerly served as a tennis stadium since its opening in 1991, being transformed into a concert venue in 2021. Westville Music Bowl’s scalable capacity can reach from up to 9,700 down to 3,500.
“Mark Nussbaum and I have been developing artists from 100-cap spaces through a growing network of Connecticut venues,” Keith Mahler, president of Premier Concerts/Manic Presents/Lovely Day Presents, said in a statement. “That network placed us firmly at the forefront of the return of live music in 2021, which gave us a glimpse at what we can do at scale. We are very excited to have The Bowery Presents partner with us on our next chapter promoting shows at Westville Music Bowl – you can expect big things from this collective powerhouse team.”
Artists such as The National, The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros, Trey Anastasio Band, Goose and more have performed at the venue since it was transformed. boygenius will be performing at the venue on Sept. 28.
