BrickHouse Entertainment and SMP Consulting have agreed to form a joint partnership under the BrickHouse banner, their respective founders announced. Scott Brickell and Ron Smith, along with Chase Swayze, will now serve as managing partners of BrickHouse Entertainment. 

Kim Davis, who has been with BrickHouse for 24 years, becomes chief operating officer.

Rounding out the team are Caleb Gauntt and Jared Johnson. With their combined artist roster, BrickHouse Entertainment represents MercyMe, CAIN, Micah Tyler, Caleb & John, Iveth Luna, Micah Christopher, Christian Paul, and Bay Turner. 

Specializing in artist and brand management, live tours, publishing, movie and book deals, strategic partnerships, and endorsements, Brickell and Smith’s collective teams boast an represent top artists and have also worked with Switchfoot, VeggieTales, Phil Wickham, Audio Adrenaline, Rend Collective, and magician Justin Flom, among many others. 

“With our common mission of supporting artists to develop lasting careers in the industry, it made complete sense for us to bring our companies together,” said Brickell and Smith. “We look forward to what will certainly be an exciting new chapter ahead for BrickHouse Entertainment as we continue to support artists and grow our roster.” 

Brickell, in addition to being a successful artist manager, is also the author of “The Business Behind the Song” (Forefront Books), managed the “Rock and Worship Roadshow,” served on the Gospel Music Association board of directors for more than 20 years, and was the chairman of the board for two years. 

Smith has been involved with artist management, music publishing, book publishing, product branding throughout his career as well. He launched his first music publishing and artist management firm, McSpadden-Smith Music, with his father-in-law Gary McSpadden and brother-in-law Shawn McSpadden and grew the publishing company’s music catalog to more than 4,000 songs and dozens of No. 1 hits across Christian, Pop, and Country music from artists such as Faith Hill, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, and Vince Gill.
