Tool Announces 2024 Tour Dates Through February

Currently on the road on its own headline tour, Tool returns to the road in early 2024 with more arena dates across the U.S., including doubles at Madison Square Garden and Crypto.com Arena.

Dates kick off in Baltimore, Maryland, at the new CFG Bank Arena Jan. 10, with dates and markets including Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida (two nights), Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Moody Center in Austin, Save Mart Center in Fresno, and wrapping Feb. 18 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Opening for the band is prog-metal band Elder.

The announcement comes immediately following Tool’s headline sets at Aftershock festival in Sacramento and Power Trip in Indio, California, over the weekend.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale Oct. 13, with a Tool Army presale running Oct. 11-12.

The band is currently on the road, with shows including Salt Lake City and the band’s first Canadian performances since 2019. Special guest on the current tour is the one-man garage rock spectacle known as Steel Beans.

Tool graced Pollstar‘s cover ahead of its current fall tour leg, with the band’s Adam Jones and team explaining Tool’s touring strategy over the years, which has seen it become one of the largest and most consistent draws in heavy rock.

“This is what we do,” Jones said for the Aug. 7 cover story. “I’m very fortunate that it’s this way, but the end of the line is just to do something that we’re very rewarded with, and then to share it. I’m just glad people are into it, you know? There’s many people who get what we do, and there’s many who don’t get what we do.”
