90s College Radio Cult Favorite G. Love & Special Sauce Set 30th Anniversary Tour
Philadelphia “hip-hop blues” band G. Love & Special Sauce, whose “Cold Beverage” was a college radio staple in the 1990s who broke through to the mainstream in 1997 with “Stepping Stone,” is heading out on the road for a 30th anniversary tour.
In addition, the band will re-release a special edition of its 1994 self-titled debut.
The PAC, theater and club tour begins January 11 at St. Louis’ Blueberry Hill Duck Room. The ambitious 41-show, three-month run includes double shows in Philadelphia and New York City and plays in Chicago, San Francisco and at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. See the full routing below.
Tickets go on sale October 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
G. Love has spent recent years mostly as a festival and support act, on the road recently with Matisyahu and Dirty Heads.
The band is represented in North America by Aaron Pinkus at Wasserman Music.
