Arrival Artists, an agency formed amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, announced the promotions of Eddie Sena and Jeremy Shpizner on Wednesday. Sena, who is based in California, now has the title of agent and will focus on his roster while Shpizner, based in New York, will lead the agency’s recently developed festivals department.

“Eddie and Jeremy have been with us since 2021 and have been crucial to Arrival’s exponential growth,” Partner and COO Matt Yasecko said in a statement. “Their dedication to and passion for their artists is exactly what we envisioned to typify a homegrown agent at Arrival when we started the company just three years ago. We’re delighted to elevate Jeremy and Eddie as our first agent promotions.”

Sena’s experience in the entertainment business dates back to his college days at CSU Monterey Bay, where spearheaded the reopening of the university’s campus venue, The Black Box Cabaret. He started working at Paradigm Talent Agency following college and served as an assistant to Dan Weiner and Fred Bohlander, before being promoted to booking agent.

Sena joined Arrival Artists in 2021 and has developed his own roster while working with Ali Hedrick on tours for acts such as Mt. Joy, Car Seat Headrest, Neko Case, Vacations and David Cross. Sen’s agent roster includes Berhana, Christian Kuria, Colony House, future.exboyfriend, Infinity Song and Sir Woman.

Native New Yorker Shpizner also started working in the music biz while in college when he co-founded Mischief Management with Justin Lehmann. While attending Northwestern University, Shpizner signed local soul-pop band Lawrence and managed them for six years. He then took a job in the Nashville office at Paradigm in 2014 and assisted Jeffrey Hasson and later Jonathan Levine before becoming an agent in 2017. While at Paradigm, Shpizner developed a roster with Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Foy Vance and Ian Noe. He joined Arriva Artists in August 2021 and worked closely with agency Partner Erik Selz on tours for BADBADNOTGOOD, Altin Gün, The Magnetic Fields and more.

Shpizner is tasked with developing the new festivals department by seeking more opportunities for Arrival artists such as Mt. Joy, Goose, Khruangbin, Andrew Bird, Glen Hansard, Amyl and the Sniffers and Pup to play at large music events. Shpizner will also continue his duties as a responsible agent and work with his roster, which includes ANAVITÓRIA, Asha Imuno, Bendigo Fletcher, Curtis Waters, Eliza McLamb and more.
