The independently run 1,400-cap venue Content in Liverpool, England, has unveiled its first season of shows through Spring 2024.

A sold-out show from The Pretenders (Oct. 22), is followed by Maisie Peters (Oct. 23), the Homotopia Festival launch (Nov. 11), Stereolab (Nov. 15), and more. The first confirmation of 2024 are The Vaccines, who will perform at Content Jan. 13.

They follow opening performances by Caroline Polachek, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and the legendary Liverpool Disco Festival, who inaugurated the new building earlier this year

Content opened in the Baltic Triangle of Liverpool, England, in 2019, but its life as a true music venue began in May 2023. So, these announcements mark the first concert season for the venue.

Mike Deane, Content’s head of music, commented, “We are thrilled to announce such a high-quality music programme for the first full season of this fantastic new venue. Such a stellar list of great names and sold-out shows is testament to the hard work from a wonderful team in making this a new go-to for live music in the city. From local independents to established national promoters, we’ve already been able to attract a real range of collaborators to make it a programme with something for everyone – we look forward to a very exciting time ahead at Content.”
