Sound Talent Group Names Beth Keith, John Pantle, Eric Powell & Jake Zimmerman Partners
Sound Talent Group has promoted Beth Keith, John Pantle, Eric Powell, and Jake Zimmerman to partners at the independent music agency. The announcement was made today by STG founders Dave Shapiro, Tim Borror and Matt Andersen.
“From day one, these four agents have been pivotal to our agency’s success,” Andersen said in a statement. “Their promotion to partners not only celebrates their invaluable contributions but also reinforces our commitment to cultivating talent from within.”
The four new partners have all been with the agency since shortly after it got its start in 2018, with Keith and Powell’s hires announced a few weeks after the company launched in early November and Pantle and Zimmer joining after that. Today’s news notes that the partners have collectively “been integral in building the face of touring opportunities for numerous clients in a plethora of genres for STG and beyond throughout their careers.”
The partners will continue to be based in their respective markets. Keith – who works with Alexandra Kay, Story Of The Year and Currents – is in Nashville. Pantle is in Los Angeles and has a roster that includes Natalia Lafourcade, Hatsune Miku and Julieta Venegas. Powell (Ice Nine Kills, Dayseeker, Loathe) and Zimmerman (Knocked Loose, The Happy Fits, Lil Darkie) are based in New York.
The STG roster features more than 450 artists representing diverse styles, with the acts playing venues ranging from clubs and theaters to stadiums. Prior to launching Sound Talent Group, founders Shapiro, Borror and Andersen were most recently at UTA and The Agency Group before that, which was acquired by UTA in 2015.
