Rock-it Global announced the acquisition of Dell Will Customs Brokers, allowing the logistics group to expand its in-house customs brokerage capabilities on the U.S.-Canada border.

Based in Detroit, Michigan, Dell Will serves the motorsports and automotive manufacturing industries. With the acquisition, Rock-it Global also plans to further service those sectors.

“Bolstering our customs brokerage service offering not only strengthens our capabilities on the U.S.-Canada border, but also further enhances our value proposition and expands the end-to-end solutions we can offer our motorsports customers,” Daniel Rosenthal, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rock-it Global, said in a statement. “We are constantly evaluating strategic opportunities to grow the business, enhance our value proposition to customers, and expand service offerings across the world. The acquisition of Dell Will builds on our strategy of expanding our presence in the high-growth sports and motorsports industries and our commitment to provide door-to-door solutions for customers with challenging international requirements.”

Marty Block, founder and vice president of Motorsports Customs Brokerage, will continue leading Dell Will.

“For more than 23 years, Dell Will has focused on providing best-in-class customs clearance services for time-critical shipments and serving clients with complex international logistics moves,” Bloch said. “We have worked closely with Rock-it Global as a supplier for years and joining the team to support Rock-it Global’s efforts in motorsports is an exciting step for us. Our extensive history working together to serve the same end customers has solidified our cultural and operational alignment and confirmed that we share the same passion for providing exceptional service. We are confident this partnership will further enable us to expand our client base while continuing to deliver top-notch service to our customers.”

Rock-it Global came to be in 2021 after Rock-it Cargo and Sound Moves merged that same year, rebranding as Rock-it Global. Previously, both cargo companies had been nominated and won the Pollstar Award for Transportation Company of the Year. The specialty freight forwarding and logistics company has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC and more.
