Green Day Announces ‘The Saviors Tour’ With The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid & The Linda Lindas
While playing Las Vegas a few week ago, Billie Joe Armstrong promised fans Green Day’s next tour would be a massive one, featuring special guests The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas. He’s kept his word. Live Nation announced “The Saviors Tour,” celebrating 30 years of Dookie and 20 years of American Idiot, which will feature all the bands Armstrong mentioned on its North American leg.
In Europe, Green Day will tour with Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The Interrupters and Maid of Ace.
The first leg of the tour takes place in Europe, kicking off at O Son do Camino festival in Spain on May 30. Green Day will travel throughout the continent for the next 30 days, wrapping up at Wembley Stadium in London on June 29.
After a short break, the band will head over to North America on July 29 in Washington, D.C. They’ll perform stadiums across North America, wrapping up on Sept. 28 at San Diego’s Petco Park.
Green Day’s last massive tour took place in 2022, when they combined forces with Weezer and Fall Out Boy for “The Hella Mega Tour.” The stadium run in North America landed the band at No. 3 on Pollstar’s Year End Worldwide Tours chart in 2021. The band is booked by CAA’s Rob Light.
The U.S. general onsale begins on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. local time. The European on sale begins at 9:30 a.m. GMT/10:30 a.m. CT on Nov. 10.
