DailyPay Extends Partnership With Oak View Group To 125 Venues
Venue development, management and investment firm Oak View Group has extended its partnership with financial technology company DailyPay that extends to 125 venues and includes employees wearing an embroidered branded patch on their uniforms.
“We are proud to partner with Oak View Group in their ongoing commitment to provide financial wellness benefits that help their team members achieve greater financial stability,” said Kevin Coop, CEO, of DailyPay. “We applaud their employee-centric mission, recognizing the many dedicated employees who work hard to make LIVE events even more special.” Oak View Group is the parent company to Pollstar and VenuesNow.
The partnership will reach seven NBA and NHL sports teams and 125 venues across the country, and bring DailyPay financial wellness benefits to all Oak View Group employees company-wide. Those services include allowing employees to access earned wages in real time rather than on a scheduled date.
Dan Griffis, president of OVG Global Partnerships said, “We believe that our employees are the heart of our organization, and therefore their well-being is of paramount importance to us. DailyPay’s innovative solution aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing our employees with the tools they need to thrive both personally and professionally. We’re proud to collaborate with DailyPay on a partnership that puts all OVG employees first.”
The expansion comes following the regional-level launches of the program in markets including UBS Arena at Belmont Park, N.Y., Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota and Toyota Center in Houston.
Hourly shift workers including OVG Hospitality employees, ushers, guest services and event staff personnel at OVG Alliance venues will don an embroidered DailyPay patch on their uniforms. The total workforce involved totals more than 30,000 people, a representative said.
Venues within the partnership include 35 venues managed by OVG’s venue management division, OVG360, as well as American Airlines Center in Dallas, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, CapitalOne Arena in Washington, D.C., Spectrum Center in Charlotte and more.
The partnership will reach approximately 65 million fans in venues across the U.S., according to the announcement.
