Coldplay is continuing their massive “Music Of The Spheres World Tour,” which has included dates across six continents and sold over nine million tickets thus far. Now, the band is continuing on with their trek and announced new dates in Australia and New Zealand.
The band will return to the continent next October and November, performing two shows at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, two shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium and one date at Eden Park in Auckland.
Throughout their “Music Of The Spheres” dates, Coldplay has had climate action at the top of mind. The tour has so far produced 47% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour. They have also been planting one tree per concert goer throughout the tour, with seven million trees already planted.
Throughout the band’s “Music Of The Spheres World Tour,” they’ve performed dates across Europe and North America, with highlights including a gross of $29 million in Milan for four shows running June 26 to 29, $40 million with six shows in Sau Paulo and $49 million with 10 shows in Buenos Aires.
Presale tickets for the band’s upcoming dates in Australia and New Zealand go on sale starting 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 29, with general on sale beginning Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
