British rock band IDLES was already off to a good start filling out its 2024 tour itinerary with March dates across Europe but today announced it is making it a global affair with North American and Ireland/UK runs beginning in May that will keep the hard-working rockers on the road all year.

The new dates follow the Feb.16 release of IDLES’ next album, TANGX, and runs through the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Known for its life-affirming live show, IDLES kicks off the new leg in Vancouver, British Columbia, at PNE Forum on May 3rd. The second leg begins Sept. 14th at Asheville, North Carolina’s Rabbit Rabbit and finishes in Mexico City Oct. 4 at the Pepsi Center.

These are some of the biggest North American shows the band have played to date. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Dec. 8. Visit Idlesband.com to pre-order the record and gain access to presale tickets.

Last month, the band announced their highly anticipated new album TANGK, out Feb. 16th via Partisan Records, and shared the propulsive first single “Dancer,” which features backing vocals from LCD Soundsytem’s James Murphy and Nancy Whang.

TANGK marks IDLES fifth album, and follows up its Grammy-nominated CRAWLER.
