Here’s our last roundup of UK and European lineups for 2023. There’s a lot to look forward to next year, that’s for sure.

Robbie Williams At BST Hyde Park

American Express presents BST Hyde Park announced its next headliner for 2024: Robbie Williams, who will return to London’s famous park Saturday, July 6, 2024 for a UK exclusive.

Williams released XXV last year, securing his 14th UK number-one album, followed by a tour, which is currently on the road across Australia and New Zealand. Highlights from the tours UK leg, taken from the Pollstar Boxoffice, include two sold-out O2s in London, Oct. 9-10, grossing $3,519,958 on 31,627 tickets; and three sold-out AO Arenas in Manchester, Oct. 19-22, grossing $3,815,312 on 40,753 tickets.

Williams is BST Hyde Park’s second confirmed headliner following Andrea Bocelli, who will perform on July 5. Tickets are on sale.

Co-Headliners For APE

All Points East announced The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie as co-headliners for the Victoria Park festival on Sunday, Aug. 25.

It marks The Postal Service’s first appearance in London in over 10 years, so All Points East next summer will be a special celebration of two groups that defined an era. “Each night,” a press release from All Points East states, “Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will pull double duty performing with The Postal Service – comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis – as well as with Death Cab for Cutie (alongside Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The extraordinary show will see both iconic groups performing their seminal 2003 albums in full.”

Sziget Headliners Unveiled

Stormzy, Fred again.., Sam Smith, and Martin Garrix have been unveiled as the first four headliners of Sziget 2024, scheduled to return to the Island of Freedom in Budapest, Hungary, Aug. 7-12.

AMÉMÉ, Blondshell, Crystal Fighters, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Ellen Allien, Fontaines D.C., Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Joost, Joesef, Joker Out, Louis Tomlinson, L’Impératrice, MEUTE, Nia Archives, Dom Dolla, Nova Twins, Overmono, Pip Blom, Warhaus, Zoe Wees, and more have been confirmed to play Sizget 2024, as well.

Tamás Kádár, CEO of Sziget Festival, said his team had “received a lot of positive feedback during this year’s Sziget Festival about how much the festival has improved in almost all areas compared to Sziget 2022. From the Early Bird pre-sales so far, we can see that there is a lot of interest in the 2024 festival. This announcement, which is only the first ‘package’ for now, shows that next year’s Sziget will continue to present big world stars, current artists and newcomers, so that everyone is offered a strong and exciting selection of music, regardless of genre.”

Full festival passes starting at €289 ($316), plus tons of VIP, travel and accommodations options are now on sale. There are youth tickets available at a reduced price.

Balaton Sound prides itself on being a festival providing real holiday vibes.

‘World Stars & Crowd Favorites’ At Balaton Sound

Also taking place in Hungary, and organized by the same team as Sziget, is Balaton Sound, which returns to the beautiful Lake Balaton in Zamárdi, July 3-6, with a lineup led by Paul Kalkbrenner, Purple Disco Machine, Marshmello, Timmy Trumpet, and James Hype.

Since its first edition in 2007, Balaton Sound has gained a reputation for combining an ideal mix of music, party, sud, and holiday vibes.

Anna Filutás, project manager of the festival, the first lineup wave, consisted of “world stars and crowd favorites.”

Four-day festival tickets start at €199 ($217).

Electric Castle Turns 10

Electric Castle unveiled a stellar lineup for its 10th anniversary celebrations next year, when the festival returns to Transylvania, Romania, July 17-21.

Massive Attack, Bring Me The Horizon, Queens Of The Stone Age, Chase & Status Live, Dj Shadow, Khruangbin, Sleaford Mods, Marc Rebillet, Jayda G, Bonobo (Dj Set), Dj Diesel (Shaq), Priya Ragu, Skream & Benga, Kenya Grace, Genesis Owusu, and more will take one of ten stages spread across Banffy Castle.

Electric Castle aims to have music play on its spectacular site 24 hours a day, non-stop. Generale weekend tickets starting from €119 ($130) are on sale.

Highfield Festival Confirms 17 New Acts

Highfield Festival returns to lake Störmthaler See just outside Leipzig, Germany, Aug. 16-18.

Macklemore, and German rap star Marsimoto, the alter ego of Marteria, lead a lineup that also features Peter Fox, Rise Against, Mando Diao, Trettmann, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Jeremias, Olli Schulz & Band, and more.

Tickets are on sale, full festival tickets are priced at €179 ($195) until Dec. 22, when the next price tear will come into effect.

Rock Werchter Adds & Adds

Belgium’s main event Rock Werchter continues to add spectacular names to its 2024 bill, when the festival is scheduled for July 4-7.

Newly announced for Thursday, July 4, are Greta Van Fleet, Jane’s Addiction, PJ Harvey, Dropkick Murphys, The Hives, and Black Pumas. Bad Omens, Simple Plan, and The Beaches will be on stage on July 5. New in for Saturday, July 6, are The Kooks, Jessie Ware, and Arlo Parks. Jungle, The Breeders, and Lauren Spencer Smith will play the festival on Sunday, July 7.

They join previously announced Foo Fighters, Dua Lipa, Måneskin, Lenny Kravitz, Yungblud, Sum 41, and Avril Lavigne. Tickets are on sale via ticketmaster.be.

MEO Kalorama festival makes its return to the idyllic Parque da Bela Vista in Lisbon, Portugal, Aug. 29-13.

Now in its third year, the lineup features the newly announced Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Sam Smith, The Kills, who join Jungle, The Smile, Ana Moura, The Postal Service + Death Cab For Cutie, Overmono, Yard Act, Ana Lua Caiano, English Teacher, Peggy Gou, Ezra Collective, Glockenwise, Nation of Language, and Vagabon more.

Tickets are on general sale, with three-day passes going for €145 ($158) at the moment.

Sónar Lisboa Finalizes Lineup

With the addition of Paul Kalkbrenner, Nia Archives, Helena Hauff b2b Imogen, Branko, Marie Davidson, Jennifer Loveless, Vanyfox, VHOOR, and more, Sónar Lisboa has completed its lineup for 2024, when the festival returns to the Portuguese capial, March 23-25.

The Parque Eduardo VII will once again host what marks the third edition of the sister event to the original Sónar in Barcelona, Spain. Like the original, the Lisbon edition is split into Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night.

Previously announced were 2manydjs invite Éclair Fifi & Erol Alkan, Bonobo, Eliza Rose, and CC:DISCO!; plus live sets from Sevdaliza, Oneohtrix Point Never, Shygirl presents ‘Club Shy’, Moullinex △ GPU Panic, Tiga & Hudson Mohawke present ‘Love Minus Zero’, TOMMY CASH, XEXA, and others.

Tickets, starting at €110 ($120) for a full festival pass, are on sale.

Parklife, scheduled to go down June 8-9 in Heaton Park, Manchester, UK, unveiled its first act ahead of the first lineup wave in January: Fisher and Chris Lake, who will bring their Under Construction show, which debuted at Coachella in 2023.

Timmy Trumpet and W&W have joined previously announced headliner Armin van Buuren at German EDM mega event Parookaville, scheduled for July 19-21 at Weeze Airport, Germany.

Bryan Adams, RAYE, James Arthur have joined previously announced Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne, David Guetta & Morten present Future Rave, and more on the bill of Tinderbox in Odense, Denmark, June 27-29.
