The Azoff Company Names Nate Albert Giant Music’s President
Creative A&R executive Nate Albert has been named president of Giant Music, The Azoff Company announced Jan. 11.
The Azoff Company established Giant Music in 2022 as an independent record label “to assist artists achieve their goals in the contemporary music business,” by giving artists “access to unparalleled resources and executive talent.”
“Nate invests his time, energy, and love into everything he touches. We can’t believe how lucky we are to be bringing him into the Giant family. Please hurry up and send this release out before he changes his mind,” Irving and Jeffrey Azoff said in a joint statement.
The Giant music team also includes co-founder Shawn Holiday, Matt LaMotte, and Charles Hamilton, among others.
“Partnering with Nate at Giant is the next step for us in building a world class label,” Holiday said. “As an artist himself, he understands how to help artists achieve their dreams and that is what we do at Giant.”
Albert got his start in music at age 13 as guitarist, songwriter, co-producer, and founding member of the Boston-based ska-punk band The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
He most recently worked at Warner Records, where his accomplishments included developing and signing Best New Artist Grammy Nominee Omar Apollo and Teddy Swims, among others. Before that he served as an A&R executive at Capitol Records and Republic Records where he signed stars The Weeknd and Maggie Rogers. He has also worked on projects with artists including Dua Lipa, Marshmello, Roddy Ricch, Calum Scott, Troye Sivan, NF, Cold War Kids and Jon Bellion.

The Azoff Company is co-founded by Chairman and CEO Irving Azoff, who is also a co-founder of Pollstar parent company Oak View Group.
