Wasserman Music Opens New Carmel, California, Office Led By Dan Weiner
Wasserman Music has opened a new office in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California, under the leadership of senior vice president Dan Weiner. Joining Weiner in the new digs are vice president Lynn Cingari, vice president of college Taylor Schultz and coordinator Dave Jackson.
The office opening may trigger a bit of déjà vu for Weiner, who opened Wasserman Music precursor company Monterey Peninsula Artists in the city with Fred Bohlander in 1975. They were joined by the late Chip Hooper in 1988, when he was hired as MPA’s first agent.
When MPA was acquired by Paradigm, which itself became part of Wasserman in 2021. Weiner continued to work out of his Monterey, California, office but the new building marks a major upgrade.
“We are excited to open our new Wasserman Music office in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California!,” Wasserman announced via social media. “Our music team’s connection to the Monterey Bay area stretches back to the founding of Monterey Peninsula Artists in 1975, and we’re thrilled to unveil our beautiful new home there to continue that lineage.”
Among the artists represented by Wasserman Music’s Monterey Bay-area office are Bruce Hornsby, Chris Thile, Foreigner, Lyle Lovett, moe., Nickel Creek, Punch Brothers, Randy Newman, Steve Miller Band, and The Lone Bellow, among many others.
