Pixies & Modest Mouse Hit The Road Again With 23 New Dates

Following the success of last summer’s joint tour, Pixies and Modest Mouse are hitting the road once again with stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Toronto, New York City, Chicago, Austin, Denver and more. Cat Power will also continue on the tour as support.

The trek kicks off on May 31 at Firefly Distillery in Charlotte, South Carolina and wraps up on June 30 at Fiddler’s Green in Denver.

Last summer, Pixies and Modest Mouse sold out numerous dates on their joint tour, with highlights including a $729,628 gross for two nights at McMenamins Edgefield Amphitheater in Troutdale, Oregon, on Sept. 12 and 13. They also played two nights at The Salt Shed in Chicago on Aug. 30 and 31, grossing $762,189. On Aug. 21 and 22, they played two nights at The Rooftop at Pieer 17 in New York City, grossing $487,140, and their return to New York City this summer finds them headlining Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.

Pixies and Modest Mouse are both booked by CAA. Pixies are repped by Key Music Management, while Modest Mouse is represented by C3 Management. The upcoming tour is promoted by Live Nation, except for dates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Minneapolis, Minnesota and Denver.

Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale starting Jan 26 at 10 a.m. local time. Citi and artist presales begin Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. local time and run through until Jan. 25 at 10 p.m. local time.
