Renowned psychotherapist and New York Times bestselling author Esther Perel has unveiled the routing for a brief U.S. theatre tour that’s called “An Evening With Esther Perel: The Future of Relationships, Love & Desire.”

The tour, which is produced by Live Nation, promises to be an immersive event as Perel “shines a light on the cultural shifts transforming relationships and helps us rethink how we connect, how we desire – and even how we love.”

Perel has a therapy practice in New York, serves as an organizational consultant for Fortune 500 companies and her bestselling books, “Mating in Captivity” and “The State of Affairs,” have been translated into more than 40 languages. She also has an award-winning podcast, “Where Should We Begin,” and her TED Talks have racked up more than 40 million views.

“A truism that we all know, but often forget, is that the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. And so, I invite you, with great pleasure, to join me in a process of co-creation, as each night we navigate the twists & turns of modern love” Perel said in a statement.

Following a sold-out Australian tour in 2022 and a sold-out, one-night-only appearance at London’s Eventim Apollo in 2023, Perel will head to stages in the U.S. this spring, starting with an April 4 show at The Met Philadelphia. The East Coast portion of the tour includes shows in Boston, Washington, D.C., and two nights at New York’s Beacon Theatre. In September she’ll be back on the road for a few nights on the West Coast, starting Sept. 10 at Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater. The last stop is Sept. 19 at San Francisco’s The Masonic.

Presales are scheduled throughout the week, including an artist presale on Jan. 23. The general onsale begins Friday, Jan. 26 at 12 p.m. E.T. at ticketmaster.com. Post-show VIP events will be held in select cities.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Perel include a Dec. 3, 2022, show at Sydney Coliseum Theatre in Moruya, Australia, that sold 1,778 tickets and grossed $129,245.
