Black Promoters Collective Partners With Jazz In The Gardens To Expand Into Festival Space In 2024
Black Promoters Collective is partnering with Jazz in the Gardens and the City of Miami Gardens, Florida, to bring Maxwell, Babyface, Jeezy, Scarface, Jaheim, Tamia, Marsha Ambrosius, October London, DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! and many more stars of soul, R&B, jazz, hip-hop and Afrobeat to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami March 9-10. The strategic collaboration is a significant step towards “redefining and expanding the iconic festival experience” of Jazz in the Gardens, according to a statement. Past JITG events have taken place at Hard Rock Stadium and included such artists as H.E.R., Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, The Isley Brothers, The Roots, T-Pain, Anita Baker, Salt-N-Pepa, Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan, LL Cool J, Aretha Franklin, and many more top artists of soul, R&B and jazz.
The 2024 edition marks the 17th year of Jazz in the Gardens, and will be hosted by Rickey Smiley and Jess Hilarious.
“BPC is thrilled to work alongside the City of Miami Gardens to enhance the already vibrant Jazz in the Gardens brand and take it to the next level,” BPC Partner and CMO Troy Brown said in making the announcement. “For example, notably, JITG has never incorporated the Afrobeat genre into its lineup. BPC plans to change that and infuse the festival with a mix of genres, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.”

This year’s festival staging aims to make Jazz in the Gardens bigger and better than before. Among the new additions is marketplace, providing festivalgoers with “a diverse and immersive experience, offering rebranding strategies and accelerated storytelling, coupled with innovative brand sponsorship activation and a newly installed food truck village,” according to the statement.
