Los Bukis Headlining Las Vegas’ First All Spanish-Language Residency
Los Bukis, a Mexican band that broke box office records across the U.S. and Mexico when they reunited for a massively successful tour in 2021, are back to make history again. The influential group announced a 2024 headlining residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas, an intimate 5,200-seat venue that also hosts residencies for Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and Maroon 5.
Presented by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, the 15 announced shows of “Los Bukis: La Residencia” marks the first time a Las Vegas residency features a full Spanish-language, Latin act. The first handful of shows from the Mexican group are May 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11, followed by five nights in July (12, 13, 17, 19, 20) and September (13, 14, 18, 20, 21).
Tickets for the concerts go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. PT. Citi cardmembers will have access to a presale beginning Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. PT. Fans can also purchase tickets through the Live Nation and Ticketmaster presale, which begins Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. PT. Another presale for MGM Rewards members and fans who are part of the MGM Resorts’ loyalty rewards program begins Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. PT. All presale windows close Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. PT.
Los Bukis, a band founded in 1976 by cousins Marco Antonio Solís, a successful solo artist, and Joel Solís, recorded 16 albums before disbanding in 1996. Amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2021, the band announced a reunion tour following its 25-year hiatus which was one of the most successful outings from any artist that year. Los Bukis cemented themselves as one of the biggest acts on the road with “Una Historia Cantada,” nine Live Nation-produced, sold-out concerts at six stadiums that grossed nearly $50 million and ranked No. 6 on Pollstar’s 2021 Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart. Lead singer Marco Antonio Solís graced the cover of Pollstar in November 2022 following the success of Los Bukis and his solo arena tour.
