ODESZA Announces ‘The Last Goodbye’ Finale Dates
OODESZA has announced “The Last Goodbye” finale dates, which feature the last shows of the tour supporting their album of the same name. The shows take place in iconic venues including BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden, Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado and The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.
The Live Nation-produced tour wraps up two years after the electronic duo released The Last Goodbye, and the run will be officially retired after their final show of the summer. Bob Moses, Ben Bohmer, Tinlicker, Big Boi, DRAMA and Golden Features will rotate as support as ODESZA performs multiple nights in Los Angeles, New York City and George, Washington. The shows will also feature a special extended set, sending off “The Last Goodbye” in a grand gesture.
As ODESZA began their run of “The Last Goodbye” nearly two years ago, the duo and their team sat down with Pollstar to discuss how they hoped to make history with the trek. That first summer marked dance music’s first full-fledged amphitheater tour, making history for the genre.
“We did a similar run, not to the scale, last time,” ODESZA’s Clayton Knight said at the time. “Running through those and looking back, they had this great kind of mini-festival energy. I’m really excited to get out there and do them because I think that’ll be the vibe. You have the lawn area where people can set up and sit back and watch a show where you can go down to the pit. You’re not really assigned [seating], like in an arena. I think it gives a little more flexibility and fans can mingle and whatnot.”
The tour’s first dates began at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle (three nights grossing $3.8 million), making the show’s return to Washington, ODESZA’s home state, end full circle. Highlights from “The Last Goodbye” included headlines at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Lollapalooza last summer. They sold out two shows at Huntington Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island in Chicago on Sept. 9 and 10, 2022, grossing a total $1.7 million. Their two nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on Aug. 26 and 27, 2022, brought in $2.18 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, while their show at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, grossed $2.9 million.
The duo is represented by Red Light Management and booked by Wasserman Music.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sale beginning Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
