Bikini Kill Announce 2024 North American Tour

Following their 2019 reunion — which marked the band’s first full shows together since 1997 — Bikini Kill will return to North America in 2024 for 16 shows in August and September.

The run — which begins with two nights at the Wiltern in Los Angeles August 15 and 16 — follows a tour of Mexico, South America and Europe and includes two nights in San Francisco and Brooklyn, along with stops in Chicago, Denver and Philadelphia. The feminist punks’ reunion tour faced a host of challenges — not least of which the global pandemic that came in the middle of it. Among the highlights, though, an April 22 engagement at The Salt Shed in Chicago, grossing $167,564 on 3,164 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
