Slotted right between music’s biggest night and the Big Game was the return of Pollstar Live! – the live industry’s Grammy Awards and Super Bowl rolled into one with the conference marking the world’s largest gathering of global live entertainment professionals and the 35th annual Pollstar Awards representing the only peer-voted awards in the live entertainment industry.

This year’s conference, the flagship event for Pollstar which took place Feb. 6-8, set an attendance record for the third consecutive year thanks to an increased capacity at its new venue the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and a general wave of success for the live entertainment industry at large.

Pollstar Live! offered three days of engaging discussions and keynote conversations led by the top visionaries and executives in the live business, along with plenty of networking opportunities.

The event launched with the one-day Production Live!, featuring panels and keynote conversations dedicated to lighting, rigging, audio, tech, transportation, staging and other topics related to bringing the magic of live shows to life, led by the industry pros who dominate the scene backstage.

Hosted by comedian, actor and author Tom Papa, the Pollstar Awards took place at the historic Wiltern in Los Angeles on Feb. 8 and honored the most successful artists, executives, tours, venues, companies and more from the live industry in more than 40 categories.

See below for a recap of the 2024 panels and keynotes with speakers including Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament; Full Stop Management CEO Jeffrey Azoff; Ballmer Group Co-Founder and LA Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer; Jon Bon Jovi; Executive Chairman and CEO of Sphere James L.
