Beloved alt-rockers — and touring stalwarts — They Might Be Giants are back on the road in spring 2024 for a run that’s largely multi-night plays.

“The Big Show Tour” kicks off with a three-night stand at Pittsburgh’s Mr. Small’s Theatre between May 9 and 11 and hits Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chicago and Milwaukee before the tour finale in Madison, Wisconsin at The Barrymore Theatre June 23.

“They Might Be Giants plan to take full advantage of this tour’s two-night stands. They will perform two very different shows, not only to keep the song selection and high-wire musical improvisations ever-changing but also to encourage return audiences looking for deep cuts and hard left turns. With sets featuring the earliest days of Dial-A-Song through their platinum album Flood, and all the way to their Grammy-nominated album BOOK; each night of this multi-city run will be its own celebration of the band’s singular songbook. Expect a spontaneous, sprawling, enthralling musical event unlike any other, every single night,” a press release reads.

Tickets for all shows are available here.

The multi-night model is one that’s worked for TMBG on their last few tours. To wit, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports, three shows at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon, last April $107,450 across three sold-out nights, for a total of 3,070 tickets. The following two nights at Seattle’s The Neptune drew 2,000 combined for a gross of $70,000. The 2023 U.S. finale at Cain’s in Tulsa grossed $50,698 on 1,780 tickets.

TMBG are repped in North America by High Road Touring.
