Alice Cooper Announces ‘Too Close For Comfort’ UK Tour

Alice Cooper returns to the UK in October for a six-date run visiting Glasgow, Scotland, as well as Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and London in England.

The “Too Close For Comfort” tour brings fans closer to Alice than ever, “with giant video screens blending the live action with pre-recorded scenes to delve deeper into Alice’s world,” according to the tour’s announcement.

He’ll be accompanied by his long-running live band of Ryan Roxie (guitar), Chuck Garric (bass), Tommy Henrikson (guitar), Glen Sobel (drums), and Nita Strauss (guitar).

Primal Scream will join Alice Cooper for the tour, in all cities except London. Legendary Sex Pistols guitarist, and songwriter Glen Matlock will be Alice Cooper’s special guest in the English capital. On all dates, up-and-coming acclaimed punks The Meffs will support.

Alice Cooper’s “Too Close For Comfort” tour is produced by AEG Presents. Alice Cooper is booked by Creative Artists Agency in North America and United Talent Agency worldwide, excluding North America. He is represented by Alive Enterprises.

A presale with UK mobile operator Three kicks off Feb. 21, 10 a.m., followed by the
AEG Presents, AXS, Ticketmaster, and venue presales, Feb. 22, 10 a.m., and the general on sale, Feb. 23.

Alice Cooper is also touring with Rob Zombie in North America right now, and both recently announced they’d be continuing their “Freaks On Parade” tour with special guests Ministry and Filter, launching Aug. 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
