Cigarettes After Sex Releasing New Album, Embarking On Global Tour

Cigarettes After Sex are making a big leap this year and not only artistically. The pop band announced a new album, X’s, will drop July 12 and will be jumping into arenas across the globe over the next year, visiting venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and the 02 in London.

Following a performance at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, the North American leg of the tour kicks off Aug. 31 at Centre Ball in Montreal followed by a show at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. The routing includes stops at Boston’s TD Garden, Moody Center in Austin, Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena, Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena and Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, before wrapping up at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.

Cigarettes After Sex — repped by Wasserman Music’s Kiely Mosiman and Jackie Nalpant for North America and Australia; Josh Javor (of WME) and David Exley (Wasserman) in Europe Asia and Africa; and Mike Mori (CAA) in South America — will visit Europe and the United Kingdom in October and November. The band will resume their tour in Asia in January 2025 followed by shows in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Tickets for the world tour will be available to the general public on March 8 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can also get tickets through the artist presale beginning March 5 at 10 a.m. local time for the shows in North America. Tickets can be purchased at cigarettesaftersex.com. The band will use Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange system to deter scalping and give fans an opportunity to buy tickets at face value.

Cigarettes After Sex toured in 2023 and mostly played in amphitheaters, grossing $7.8 million off 28 headline shows reported to Pollstar Boxoffice. One of the band’s biggest shows was at Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 15, 2023. The sold-out show produced by The Bowery Presents and AEG Presents moved 13,530 tickets and hauled in $815,526.
