Momentary Live On The Green To Feature Jon Batiste, John Legend, Portugal. The Man
The Momentary in Bentonville, Arkansas, has announced seven concerts as part of its 2024 Live on the Green outdoor summer concert series.
The lineup includes Jon Batiste on April 23, John Legend on June 1, Portugal. The Man on July 6, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on July 14, Lake Street Dive on July 17, deadmau5 on Aug. 24, and Kaskade on Sept. 27.
More performances will be announced in the coming weeks.
“Music lies at the heart of the Momentary,” said Jill Wagar, director of the Momentary, which opened in 2020 in downtown Bentonville as an extension of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
“Northwest Arkansas has garnered acclaim for its remarkable visual arts scene, and with the Momentary emerging as a leading concert venue, we’re poised to earn a reputation for outstanding music as well. Our efforts are significantly shaping the region, and our annual Live on the Green concert series plays a key role in this transformation.”
Since 2022, Live on the Green has hosted artists including The Roots, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, indie pop sensation Japanese Breakfast, Wilco and Wu-Tang Clan.
In addition to Live on the Green, the Momentary is also home to an indoor music series and FreshGrass Bentonville festival, which returns this May with performances by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Trampled by Turtles, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Valerie June, and more.
