Amazon Music To Stream Special Black Crowes Performance

The Black Crowes will soon unveil their first album in 15 years, Happiness Bastards, and celebrate the release with a special City Sessions performance on March 15 that will be livestreamed by Amazon Music.

The Southern rockers will be playing an intimate set that includes their new music as well as classics in front of a live crowd at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. Fans can attend the event by purchasing tickets via AXS. Those unable to attend in person can watch the concert on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, a streaming platform popular among content creators. The performance is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET.

Amazon Music and the Black Crowes recently collaborated on 1972, an original EP that includes covers of songs from David Bowie, the Rolling Stones and Little Feat.

In January, the band announced “The Happiness Bastards Tour,” a 35-city global trek From April 2 to June 9 that includes stops in Nashville, Los Angeles, New York, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.

The Black Crowes opened for Aerosmith three times in 2023 and headlined a few fall U.S. dates, plus had a run through South America. Their most recent Pollstar Boxoffice report from a North American stop is from August 19, 2022, when they sold 2,851 tickets, grossing $208,196 at Harrah’s Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
