To go along with today’s confirmed set at Lollapalooza, rising star d4vd has announced dates for his summer headline trek, “My House Is Not A Home Tour.” The routing features the largest venues he’s ever played, with gigs in North America and Europe including Toronto’s The Danforth Music Hall; Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club; Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, London’s KOKO and Paris’ Le Trabendo.

The 18-year-old artist born David Anthony Burke has earned praise from a variety of outlets including being named to Billboard’s 21 under 21 and Variety’s Young Hollywood Impact Report lists. FADER called d4vd “a very contemporary kind of budding star…heartbreak-pop’s unlikely gamer prince” while CLASH declared, “It’s impossible not to drown in his alternative indie rock cauldron, making emotionally immersive music that showcases the dexterity of his vocals.”

In November he made his late-night debut with a performance of his hit single “Romantic Homicide” on  “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” The tune is included on his debut EP, Petals To Thorns, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Heatseakers albums chart and is currently spending its 40th week on the chart.

Earlier this month, he released his latest single “My House Is Not A Home,” which is described as a “poignant, alternative ballad of loneliness — a story of leaving home, moving to Los Angeles, and a strained relationship finally falling apart.”

The tour, which shares its name with the single, starts May 25 with a previously confirmed appearance at Boston Calling Music Festival. He’s also confirmed to play Bonnaroo and Governors Ball.

An artist presale begins March 20, followed by the general onsale March 22 at 10 a.m. local time.
