The Pretenders are extending their stay in the States later this year. On top of supporting Foo Fighters for their stadium tour, the British band will visit 15 cities to support the influential band’s latest studio album, Relentless, as well as play classic tracks such as “I’ll Stand By You,” “Brass in Pocket” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong.”

Pretenders’ U.S. leg of their 2024 run kicks off July 13 at Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey. They will also make stops at The Fillmore Philadelphia, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Austin’s ACL Live at The Moody Theater, San Francisco’s The Masonic and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.

The band will be a special guest on several of Foo Fighters’ stadium dates, including shows at Citi Field in New York (July 17), Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park (July 25), Target Field in Minneapolis (July 28), Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High (Aug. 3), Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium (Aug. 11), Providence Park in Oregon (Aug. 16) and T-Mobile Park in Seattle (Aug. 18).

Following the U.S. routing, Pretenders will make their way back to Europe and the UK for a nearly sold-out headline tour that includes shows in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. The band will close out their 2024 tour with a sold-out show at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, UK, on Oct. 28.

Pretenders are repped by Creative Artists Agency in North America and managed by Quietus. The band, which formed in the late ’70s, supported Guns N’ Roses last year and headlined a few intimate shows in the U.S., including a sold-out concert at The Atlantis in Washington, D.C., that grossed $19,800 off 450 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
