Anitta, a versatile singer, songwriter and dancer who has dabbled in various genres, is hitting the road and bringing Brazilian funk to intimate venues across the world. The Live Nation-promoted “Baile Funk Experience” will have stops in South America, Europe and North America, marking the first time the Brazilian star has toured the continent.

The 21-date tour comes on the heels of Anitta’s new album Funk Generation, which will drop on April 26 via Republic Records/Universal Music Latin Entertainment. “Baile Funk Experience” kicks off at Salon LA in Mexico City on May 18 and includes stops at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, Orlando’s Hard Rock Live, MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Toronto’s HISTORY, New York’s Brooklyn Paramount, Vorterix in Buenos Aires, Argentina, London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum and Fabrique in Milan, Italy. The tour wraps up at Pacha in Ibiza, Spain.

Tickets for the U.S. shows are now on sale via Citi and Verizon presales, and additional presales will run throughout the week. The general onsale begins Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased via the artist’s website, anitta.com.br/en. Tickets for Europe and the UK also go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time, and tickets for the shows in South America and Mexico go on sale Thursday, April 11, at 10 a.m. local time.

VIP packages will be available for fans and may include tickets with access to the floor, a meet and greet and photo opportunity with the artist, exclusive merchandise and more.

Though Anitta will be playing her first solo shows in North America, she has performed at major festivals and special events, including headlining TikTok In the Mix in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,000 fans at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona. More than 33 million viewers tuned in to watch the broadcast, and she also made headlines at Coachella in 2022 as the first female Brazilian solo act to perform at the big festival.

Anitta, who is managed by Lionfish Entertainment and repped by United Talent Agency worldwide, recently performed at Tecate Pa’L Norte in Monterrey, Mexico, and Festival De Viña Del Mar in Chile. She was part of the Mega Bash lineup that was held at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Dec. 2, 2023. The show, which also featured Ozuna, Young Miko and Yandel, grossed $1,401,470 off 12,087 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
