Angel Olsen Announces Solo 'Songs From The Archive Tour'

Angel Olsen will be shining a spotlight on music from her entire catalog with dates announced for her solo outing, “Songs From The Archive Tour.” The singer/songwriter has booked 10 days in September, concentrated in the Northeast and California.

Olsen — who is known for her sincere lyrics and penchant for experimenting with different genres from indie folk to art pop as well as alternative country — will play songs from throughout her career, from her 2010 debut EP, Strange Cacti, to her acclaimed sixth studio album, 2022’s Big Time, including tunes she rarely performs when playing with her full band.

“I’m thrilled to announce the Songs From The Archive Tour. This is a solo tour. I’ll be exploring songs from my entire catalog on guitar…and piano when it’s available. These special shows are bringing me to cities & intimate rooms I’ve never been to or haven’t in quite awhile,” Olsen posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The tour begins September 8 in Sonoma, California, at Gundlach Winery, with special guest Maxim Ludwig. Additional special guests on the tour include runo plum, Kyle Ryan, Greg Mendez and Domino Kirke. Check out the routing below.

An artist presale is going on now, with the general onsale scheduled to start Friday, April 19th. Olsen is once again working with PLUS1, with $1 from every ticket sold going to supporting Voter Formation Project and their work increasing participation in elections using digital communications strategies to engage, register, and mobilize new and infrequent voters of color.

Olsen is booked by Wasserman Music’s Andrew Morgan in North America. Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Olsen include three shows at Seattle’s The Neptune Oct. 26-28, 2023, that sold a total of 2,471 tickets and grossed $93,360.
