Charli XCX, Troye Sivan Team Up To Co-Headline North American ‘Sweat’ Tour

Two of the biggest names in pop and electronic music are joining forces for an arena tour this fall. English singer-songwriter Charli XCX is partnering up with pop star Troye Sivan for the Live Nation-produced “Charli XCX & Troye Sivan Present: Sweat” tour, which will visit 21 cities across North America this fall and promises to turn each venue into a rave.

The tour, which will feature Shygirl as a special guest every night, kicks off Sept. 14 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and includes stops at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Madison Square Garden in New York, Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena, TD Garen in Boston, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Kaseya Center in Miami, Kia Forum near Los Angeles and Portland’s Moda Center. The run wraps up at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on Oct. 23.

Fans can purchase tickets through artist presales beginning April 25 at 10 a.m. local time followed by the general onsale on April 26 at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com. Presale registration is now available at sweat-tour.com.

It isn’t the first time the two headliners have worked together. Charli XCX and Sivan collaborated on the hit song “1999” and the sequel track, “2099.”

Charli XCX, who is managed by Good World Management and repped worldwide by Creative Artists Agency, recently announced a UK tour supporting her upcoming sixth solo album, BRAT. She had a run of successful shows in the States in the summer of 2022, including a sold-out at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem on Aug. 6 that grossed $298,875 off 6,000 tickets.

Sivan, who was born in South Africa and raised in Perth, Australia, has amassed quite a following since releasing his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood, in 2015 with more than 26 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He is embarking on a European tour next month to support his third album, Something to Give Each Other, which includes the Grammy-nominated single “Rush.” Sivan, who is also repped by CAA worldwide and managed by Good World Management, has not hit the road since “The Bloom Tour” five years ago. One of the tour stops included a concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Oct. 30, 2018, that grossed $224,230 off 5,259 tickets sold.
