On the heels of performing two weekends at Coachella, including a memorable set that featured Mexican rock band Molotov and another with country star Kane Brown, Carin León announced he is going back on the road this year with the “Boca Chueca Tour,” a 27-date global trek that will have the música Mexicana star visiting North American arenas and European venues.

The AEG Presents-promoted tour kicks off at Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, California, on July 22 and includes stops at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium, United Center in Chicago, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wizink Center in Madrid and Electric Brixton in London before wrapping up at the Alhambra in Paris on Nov. 5.

“Embarking on this tour is an exhilarating opportunity to share my new music with fans throughout North America and Europe alike. Taking my songs and the vibrant essence of Música Mexicana to a global stage is truly an honor,” Carin León said in a statement.

Presales for the tour begin April 30 at 10 a.m. local time, and fans can register for the artist presale through carinleonlive.com. VIP packages will also be available and can include a meet and greet, photo opportunity, a behind-the-scenes tour and exclusive merchandise. The general onsale begins May 3 at 10 a.m. local time.

León earned seven Latin American Music Award nominations and won the Best Artist – Regional Mexican award. The Mexican singer will be a special guest at the Rolling Stones’ “Hackney Diamonds” show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on May 7.

A pioneer of the current Mexican sound, León has gone global with the genre and has helped bridge música Mexicana with country by collaborating with Kane Brown and performing a set at the Grand Ole Opry in February.

“Long live country music,” León said to the crowd during his performance at the historic venue in Nashville, Tennessee. “May this blessed place never die. We’re on sacred ground. Thank you!”

León, who is repped by Jbeau Lewis of United Talent Agency, had a successful run in 2023 with his “Colmillo de Leche” tour. The Mexican star grossed $36.6 million off 26 shows, according to reports submitted to the Pollstar Boxoffice. The singer’s biggest night was at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on Aug. 24, 2023, a sold-out show that grossed $2,296,066 off 12,782 tickets.
