Rolling Stones Announce ‘Hackney Diamonds’ Openers
An eclectic line-up of openers will set the stage for The Rolling Stones on the rock legends’ upcoming “Hackney Diamonds” tour.
Gary Clark Jr. — previously announced — will play the first date of the 16-city tour April 28 in Houston.
Fellow returning guests include Ghost Hounds and KALEO. Ghost Hounds will perform in Atlanta on June 7, Cleveland on June 15 and Vancouver on July 5. KALEO will open the Philadelphia date on June 11.
Electric Mud and Carin León will open in Glendale, The Pretty Reckless in Las Vegas and Joe Bonamassa in Seattle. The band will close out the first month on road with Lawrence in East Rutherford at MetLife Stadium for the second show date, as well as The Red Clay Strays in Foxboro. Tyler Childers will open in Orlando, Widespread Panic in Denver, Bettye LaVette in Chicago for night one at Soldier Field and Lainey Wilson on night two.
The Stones will close out the series of dates in California with The War and Treaty opening the first night in the Los Angeles area at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium and The Linda Lindas on the second, followed by The Beaches in Santa Clara for the final stop.
