Kylie To Headline Sziget’s 30th Anniversary
Sziget Festival, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, unveiled Kylie as its newest headliner. The festival’s latest lineup update that features a long list of great artists set to perform on the Island of Freedom in Budapest, Hungary, Aug. 7-12.
Kylie will headline the main stage on opening night, Wednesday, Aug. 7. The 2024 headliners of Sziget also include Fred again, Halsey, Liam Gallagher, Martin Garrix, Sam Smith, and Stormzy.
Hundreds more artists will be gracing one of Sziget’s many other stages, including RAYE, Fisher, Artbat, Sven Väth, Barry Can’t Swim, Becky Hill, Fontaines D.C., Marc Rebillet, Skrillex,, Richie Hawtin, Modeselektor, MØ, Yard Act, Tom Odell, and many more.
Tickets are on sale, with full six-day festival passes starting at €279 ($298), excluding camping.

BST Hyde Park: Andrea Bocelli & Stevie Nicks Unveil Special Guests
When Andrea Bocelli takes the stage at British Summer Time in London’s Hyde Park, July 5, he will be joined by The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Michele Spotti.
This special UK exclusive show at BST Hyde Park is in celebration of Andrea Bocelli’s 30-year career, which made him the most successful classical artist of all time. 90 million records cold, a Golden Globe, 7 Classical BRITs, and 7 World Music Awards, plus a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, are testament to this fact.
Preceding Bocelli’s special performance accompanied by The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra are more performances by classical artists, including American soprano Nadine Sierra, three-time Grammy-winning mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, acclaimed baritone Luca Micheletti, and the Crouch End Festival Chorus. Classical musician and TV personality Mylene Klass, will guide the audience through the night.

Another legend to perform at Hyde Park in 2024 is Stevie Nicks, July 12. Her headline show follows her successful run of U.S. shows, which began last year and extends into 2024.
Recent highlights from the Pollstar Boxoffice include a sold-out March 3 performance at CHI Health Center Omaha, NE, selling 13,741 tickets for a $2,292,256 gross; a Feb. 21 performance at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC (11,167 tickets, $2,092,012 grossed); and a Feb. 17 performance at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD, also sold out (12,021, $2,172,890).
When Nicks takes the stage at Hyde Park this summer, she’ll be joined by 11-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile, English singer/songwriter and guitarist Anna Calvi, and Derbyshire-born Paris Paloma.
Commenting on her BST Hyde Park headline show, Stevie Nicks said, “Anything that draws me back to London – and therefore to England – fills my heart with joy. And to be able to visit and make music is always a dream come true.”
As usual AEG Presents has put together a stellar lineup for its annual week-long gathering at London famous park. The other confirmed headliners are SZA (June 29), Kings of Leon (June 30), Morgan Wallen (July 4), Robbie Williams (July 6), Shania Twain (July 7), Kylie (July 13), and Stray Kids (July 14).

Jarre & May Kick Off Starmus VII
Jean-Michel Jarre will open this year’s Starmus Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, May 12 He will be joined on stage by special guest, and co-founder of Starmus, Sir Brian May.
The concert is realized in cooperation with the City of Bratislava, and is free to attend. It will be televised on national TV, globally via the EBU network, and livestreamed on Jarre’s YouTube channel.
Set against the backdrop of Bratislava’s SNP Bridge, and dubbed “Bridge from the Future,” the concert has been “specially conceived and designed for this occasion by Jarre,” according to a press release.
Aside from music, science, and art play an important role at Starmus Festival, which takes place for the seventh time, May 12-17. The lineup of artists and speakers reflects that each year. This year’s theme is “The Future of our Home Planet.”
Jean-Michel Jarre commented, “As we continue to learn from the past, we should today listen to the future, being receptive and attentive to the incoming signals. Breakthroughs, discoveries, and solutions, in all fields exist already there ahead, in the future, waiting for us to find them. It is our vocation as artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, and citizens, to engage and activate progress, in creating a bridge from the future: this is the spirit of Starmus.”
Starmus co-founder, and founding member of Queen, Brian May, added, “We’re thrilled that STARMUS VII will kick off with such a unique and spectacular show. And in this concert, Jean-Michel Jarre will set the tone for the spirit of this conference, specifically aimed towards addressing our planet’s current problems.”
Tickets for Starmus Festival are now on sale, with an €198 ($212) early-bird rate in effect until April 30, at which point a ticket will cost €250 ($267).
