Los Bukis Kick Off Las Vegas Residency With Sold-Out Shows
Bukimania has officially swept over Las Vegas. Los Bukis, one of the most influential Mexican bands of the past five decades, opened the first all-Spanish-language residency on the Las Vegas strip last weekend and sold out every show at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
“Los Bukis: The Las Vegas Residency,” which is promoted by Live Nation and MGM Resorts International, captivated the audiences with colorful, top-notch stage design complementing iconic songs from the band such as “Tu Cárcel,” “Quiéreme,” and “Yo Te Necesito.”
The historic residency continues this week with shows on May 8, 10 and 11, and Los Bukis return in the summer to perform several dates in July. Their run at Dolby Live at Park MGM will come to a close on July 21. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com/LosBukisVegas.
Since reuniting in 2021, Los Bukis — comprised of lead vocalist Marco Antonio Solís, Joel Solís, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio “Chivo” Cortés, Javier Solís, José Guadarrama and Pedro Sánchez — have become one of the most successful Latin acts in the industry, grossing more than $74 million off 17 headline shows reported to the Pollstar Boxoffice. The band sold out stadiums across the country four years ago, and their most successful stop was at Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium, where they grossed a whopping $13.83 million off 94,671 tickets across two sold-out shows on Aug. 27 and 28.
