Mexican Star Peso Pluma Signs With CAA

Peso Pluma, one of the most popular Mexican artists today, has signed with Creative Artists Agency in all areas, the talent agency informed Pollstar on Tuesday.

The corridos singer will bolster CAA’s Latin roster which includes Grupo Firme, Enrique Iglesias, RBD, Ricky Martin and Santana.

Peso Pluma, who is managed by George Prajin of Prajin Parlay, has had quite the year following the massive success of his collaboration with Eslabon Armado on the hit song, “Ella Baila Sola.” The singer hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, ascended to stardom with the release of his third studio album, Génesis, which earned him a Grammy award for Best Música Mexicana Album. Peso Pluma hit the road and sold out a successful global arena tour that included stops all over the U.S. and Mexico as well as Colombia, Chile and Spain. Since April 8, 2023, he has grossed $74.6 million and sold 605,242 tickets off 53 shows, according to reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice.

He carried that momentum into Indo, California, with an acclaimed performance at Coachella during which the artist paid homage to influential singers of the past. His sets also included special performances alongside Eslabon Armado, Anitta, Becky G and Junior H.

Peso Pluma, who also made history last year as the first regional Mexican artist to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, has garnered more than 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify and will be releasing a new album “Éxodo” this year and will embark on another arena tour this month.
