Reckless Kelly To Join Steve Earle On 4 Dates

Red Dirt band Reckless Kelly will support Steve Earle on four dates, playing a full set of their own and acting as Earle’s backing band during his headlining set.

This Americana dream collaboration will be on display June 22 at The Shed in Maryville, Tennessee; June 29 at Whitewater Amphitheatre in New Braunfels, Texas; Aug. 3 at Denver’s Mission Ballroom; and Aug. 10 for the Braun Brothers Reunion in Challis, Idaho

Reckless Kelly announced they’d retire from full-time touring after their current tour, appropriately titled “The Last Frontier Tour.”

 “I’ve kind of watched these guys grow up. They started young, and they got good, fast! If, after thousands of shows and hundreds of thousands of miles, this is, indeed, the end of the trail, I want to be there,” Earle said in a statement.
