David Gilmour Adds Third Date At Hollywood Bowl

David Gilmour has added a third date to his run at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, with shows now scheduled to take place on Oct. 29, 30 and 31. The shows mark Gilmour’s first time playing Los Angeles in eight years and supports his upcoming album, Luck and Strange, set for release on Sept. 6 via Sony Music.

The upcoming dates are promoted by Live Nation-Hewitt Silva. Gilmour is booked by Paladin Artists’ Steve Martin in North America and United Talent Agency’s Neil Warnock worldwide (excluding North America).

Gilmour’s last reported dates to Pollstar’s Boxoffice took place during his five shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London from Sept. 23 to 30 in 2016. The dates sold 22,846 tickets grossing $1/2 million. That same year, he also performed two dates at Anfiteatro di Pompeii in Pompeii, Italy, on July 7 and 8 grossing $1.7 million.

His last reported North American date took place April 11 and 12 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, teh two shows selling 27,644 tickets grossing $3.8 million.

Gilmour’s touring band includes Guy Partt on bass and background vocals, Greg Philinganes and Rob Gentry on keyboards, Adam Betts on drums, Ben Worsley on guitar and Louise Marshall, Hattie Webb and Charlie Webb on background vocals.

General onsale for the show begins May 17 at 10 a.m. ET.
