Following the debut of Los Bukis’ Las Vegas residency in May, band co-founder Marco Antonio Solís (aka “El Buki”) has announced his own headline tour that’s headed to arenas across the U.S., as well as a handful of theaters and amphitheatres including Colorado’s Red Rocks.

A press release explains that with the “Eternamente Agradecido World Tour,” which translates in English to eternally grateful, Solís is “embarking on a mission to reciprocate the love he’s received over his illustrious four-decade career.”

Promising to “bring his unmatched talent and musical enchantment to cities he’s never visited before,” the tour launches Aug. 9 in Portland, Oregon, at the Moda Center. After playing Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, Solís will perform at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, during the venue’s inaugural weekend. Intuit Dome launches with two shows by Bruno Mars Aug. 15-16, followed by Solís on Aug. 18.

Other stops on the “Eternamente Agradecido World Tour” routing include Austin’s Moody Center, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena, Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway and Chicago’s United Center. The last show on the books is Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. The tour is promoted by Live Nation, with the exception of the Nov. 1 show at Uncasville, Connecticut’s Mohegan Dom Arena.

A presale for Citi Card members started May 29 and venue presales begin May 30 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public May 31 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages are available, which may include meet and greet and a photo opportunity with Solís.

Solís ranked No. 78 on Pollstar’s 2023 Top Tours North American chart with a gross of $28,547,013. He started off 2024 with a handful of dates in Mexico including a March 23 show at Monterrey’s Estadio Banorte that sold 10,468 tickets and grossed $1,152,677, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. He is managed by Habari Inc. and his tour dates in the U.S. are booked by TwoLA Heads Entertainment.

In 2022 the Latin Recording Academy named him Person of the Year. He also graced the cover of Pollstar in November of that year.

Los Bukis, which was founded in 1976 by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís, reunited in 2021 and earlier this year the band announced a headlining residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas, marking the first time a Sin City residency features a full Spanish-language, Latin act. The residency returns to Vegas in July and September.
