Zeds Dead Brings Backyard Jamboree To Dallas
Zeds Dead announced they’re expanding their Backyard Jamboree brand with a new event in the Dallas area on Aug. 31 at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas. The festival will feature two stages, a dunk tank, arcade games, food trucks, lawn games and more, as well as performances by Zeds Dead, Liquid Stranger, Levity and Gentlemans Club, ÆON:MODE and more.
The brand began with its annual Fourth of July Backyard Jamboree in Denver, which features the third-largest hot dog eating contest in the United States. The Texas Jamboree is co-promoted by Disco Presents and AEG Presents. Zeds Dead is managed by 2+2 Management’s Adam Gill and booked by Wasserman Music’s Cody Chapman.
“It’s been too long since we did a Deadbeats party here so had to make it bigger than ever,” Zeds Dead wrote on their social media announcement post.
Last year’s Fourth of July Backyard Jamboree in Denver sold 8,896 tickets grossing $399,877, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. The event followed their two-night annual stint at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 2 and 3, which sold a total 19,050 tickets grossing $1 million.
